Iraqi Forces Meet With Coalition Leaders

The process of democracy is still fairly new to many members of the Iraqi community, so when public meetings involving different elements of government are held, there are often many spectators and people that are curious in the gallery, looking on as government in action occurs in Iraq.

The leaders of the Iraqi Army, border patrol, National Iraqi Police met with the leaders from the coalition and the Iraqi Government, as well as the leaders in the local Maysian province. They set down and discussed issues near the capital of Amarah on November 15th.

The 4th BCT, 1st Cavalry division leaders met with these Iraqi leaders and worked to share information, both about continued criminal activity in the region, and to talk about the best way to solve common problems. The people in the Iraqi groups that participate in these open community meetings are often astonished at how well sitting down and simply sharing idea works.
