		<description>This has a potential interesting twist to the curent US military policy. “Don’t ask, Don’t tell&quot; was indeed a move in the right direction, though looking towards the British, and especially here in New Zealand where several fully fledged military members live &quot;openly gay&quot; lives (even having same sex partners on base). This has not lead to the sky falling in, or any apparent dysfunction in the forces. Honesty is always the best policy, so looks like it&#039;s time for the US military to recognise this, move into the future, and do away with all these old discriminatory policies regarding sexual orientation.</description>
