17 yrs old, citizenship, high school diploma or GED.
thy will help with schooling, as you can get the same GI Bill benefits as any other branch of the military.
The pay all depends on whether you are active at the time or just “drilling” one weekend a month. If drilling, you will get around $200 for each weekend. When active, pay can range from $1500/month to $7000/month depending on your rank.

i have wanted to serve my country since i was a little kid and now that im older i want to better my life and this is something i really want to do but it seems like no body will help me i really want to do this i am very persistent when it comes to my country and my work. i am working 3 jobs that dont pay crap i am going to colloge and i feel that if i dont have the army then my life is just going to go down hill and i dont want that almost all of my familey has served this country!!!! now its my turn. if you can help me in any way to better my future and serve my country you would have full filled my child hood dream thank you so much hope to here something back

I am a seinor in high school and will either graduate this year or if not will be getting my ged. I am considering joining either the national guard or the navy. I want to join to earn money and learn life skills and to generally be a stronger person. i would like to get more information about the jobs, training, and the pay of both branches. If I could get some information it would be greatly appreciated.
