clip_image17A lot of United States citizens never have the opportunity to leave our borders and travel around the world. But an Army career could provide you with the chance to travel the world and learn about cultures beyond the United States.

Army Bases Around the World

Although there are numerous Army bases within the United States, there are also many around the world, in far away places with exotic places like Japan, the Netherlands and South Korea. Even within the United States, some Army bases can provide wonderful opportunities to go to places like Alaska or Hawaii – places that many Americans would love to visit and even live. With an Army career, you have the opportunity to not only visit these places, but also live in these wonderful places while serving your country.

Are You Interested in Travel and Learning a Professional Skill? There are career fields in the United States Army Reserves and National Guard for YOU! Click HERE for Details.

Family

While each deployment has a defined amount of time, there are occasions when bringing your wife and family with you to an assignment is an option. Typically, tours are two years for single or unaccompanied soldiers and three years for soldiers who elect to bring their families with them on their tour of duty. However, not all assignments have the option of bringing a family along. For families with children, the opportunity to live in a foreign country is a once in a lifetime chance to experience a different culture.
