Alliance with China

I am going to lay it out on the line – China scares me. Look at the stock market within the past few weeks. We have had an amazing rally in the market until China announces that they are going to slow down the rate of their economy. Upon hearing this there is an enormous selloff in the American market. Furthermore it was the Chinese plan for economic rebound that initiated the economic rebound that we experienced after the march lows in the stock market. The Chinese control the global economy because virtually every nation is dependent on China for some kind of trade. China is the emerging star of this world and they are the greatest economic powerhouse. I have always said that the nation who controls the economy controls the military sphere as well. Military advancement comes down to one thing – money. The US has long been the greatest economic powerhouse that the world has ever seen. Guess what, we have the most advanced military in the world with a storehouse of nuclear weapons enough to blow up the world hundreds of times over. Go back to the Greek and Roman civilizations. They were the kings of capital. All roads led to Rome because it was an economic trade center. Additionally their robust trading capabilities afforded them the privilege of an army which could take over the known world. The most economically suitable nation has always had the upper hand with regard to military and that is why I am fearful for the years to come with China.
