Is Army ROTC Right for You?

Are you ready to get off the couch and into the action? It’s time to quit sitting on the sidelines and get in the game. The US Army is looking for recruits just like you. Whether you plan to attend college and pursue a career in medicine or climb the military ranks, Army can do something for you.

Upon graduating from ROTC training you will earn the rank of Second Lieutenant and serve the US army for four years. Selected Cadets from ROTC are permitted to serve part time while maintaining a civilian job. Once your service is completed you have to luminous paths to choose from: a stimulating and satisfying career with the US army or the civilian job of your choice. Either way, you will be equipped to succeed in every faucet of your life. As a freshmen enrolled in the Army ROTC program, there are a multitude of classes both physical and academic that the Army offers for your benefit. You will begin by studying Introduction to Army Leadership, Army Customs and Traditions, Military Operations and Tactics, Goal Setting and Accomplishment, Health and Physical Fitness. You will continue to grow in your knowledge throughout your four years of college. Your senior year, you will begin the “Leader Development and Assessment Course.” This is a four-week course taken over summer where you will learn all of the vital information necessary to your transition from student to full time Army officer.
