I am a 43 year old male with a graduate degree and prior military experience. I am in pretty decent physical condition. I am presently employed as an administrator (principal) of a public middle school. Am I too old to be considered as a military candidate in some capacity? - Just curious-

My husband of almost 35 years got divorce 14FEB08. He joined the Army 1968-1991. We got married 1973 to 2008. Do I still use my ID that expired 2011. Do I also get my full benefits. He was the one that broke the marriages by committing adultery. How long does it take to receive my first pension from him.

United States Military Apprenticeship Program, looks to be a very good thing. Why is it not offered to the ARMY, and AIR FORCE? That seems a little un-equal. Do Army/Air force soldiers not get the same type of Government programs offered to them? Please respond.

Thank goodness they are starting to put out all the great things happening in Iraq. We need more stories like this in the main stream, so people can really see how much good we are doing. With so many people doing things to make the world better, it's sad that the media has a love affair with bad news.

I think the decision to shoot down the damaged satellite is wise. It could spell an ugly scenaio if it falls in populated area, however small the possibility is. If it falls into third world, the reputation of US will hit new low. Al Qaida and other anti-US opponents will captlaize on it. Particularly worrying is protest from China and Russia, the other space powers. When China shot down one of US's Big Bird or Keyhole, I shook with fear on how technologically ahead China had become, thanks to lack of CTBT and other technological loopholes. Russia too is supplying GPS technology around he world, to Iran and other rogue states. I think the Unied States should boost its scientific education and the military in particular ca do a lot in this regard.
