Depends upon what type of work you want to do. I am in the Army and love it (I am an Army Brat too). I boil it down to the Army is focussed on ground combat and the Air Force is focussed on air combat. In general, in the Army the soldiers do the fighting and in the Air Force the Officers do the fighting. This colors the characterisitcs and culture of each service. The Army is bigger which can lead to more opportunities. I would look at the types of job you would like to have (medical, clerical, maintenance, security, logisitics, etc.) then see what each service has to offer.

You can change your mind once your contract is up. Don't forget the Reserves and National Guard.
