Default noob question

I am a house husband of two kids, it has been my wifes dream to join the navy for years. She finally signed up and goes to meps in two weeks, she scored 89 on her preliminary asfab so she should have her pick of jobs. She loves computers and wants to go into programming. We are trying to find duties/ careers that would still best serve the navy but not have her spending all of her time at sea. Any ideas or resourses?

Wow! You must be proud of your wife. Have you visit any US Navy base in your place? For sure you can inquire more information in there.
