This was a very sad story and I am surprised that the Miliatry does not stand up for one of their own and lettling these nasty things happen to their fellow women and some men. Rape is a serious subject and I would think that our Military woudl take more action instead of punishing the victiums and letting these rapeist go about their business and not have any consequences, doesn't that just let them think that it's okay to keeping raping?
In 2006, only 292 cases (out of 2,974 reported) resulted in a court martial. Meanwhile, 488 cases resulted in an “administrative punishment,” such as a letter of reprimand, a discharge from the military, forced resignation or a reduction in pay or rank.
This blows my mind
