Default 32 Years on the Run . . .

Marie Walsh was arrested on April 24 outside her home in San Diego's upscale Carmel Valley neighborhood -- she'd been living there under an ***umed identity for 32 years, but an anonymous tipster put an end to her ruse. In 1976 -- then known as Susan LeFevre -- she escaped a Michigan prison while serving a maximum 20-year sentence on heroin charges. Since then, she's raised three children with her husband of 23 years (who had no idea about her former life); now she's hoping for mercy from the courts.

Well, I've always been one to stand by the "if you commit the crime, you do the time" quote but look how long ago this was and I say if she didn't kill anyone and she's lived on the straight and narrow all these years than let the court have mercy on her.
