Default Computers in the Military

Hey, I just signed up for these forums, and I'm new to the whole "joining the military" thing.. I have always thought about the military, and how I would like to join them.. But untill very recently, I haven't made much effort to research anything...

I'm currently looking through jobs and career possibilites, and what-not, but I wanted to ask a direct question..

I am interested in Game Design, and wish to be a Game Designer as my final goal (for now, anyway). Well, I want to know, do you guys know, or have you done, a job that required working with computers, more specificly, any type of Visual Design, or working with programs for visual arts on the computer. (I don't know if I am wording this right..) Are there any jobs that can help me in my goal to learn about Programming, 3-D Visual Art and Design, or anything related to them...

If there is nothing like that, what type of jobs do they offer that require working with computers, instead of repairing them... I would prefer to go into programming or somthing of the sort... Sorry if this isn't worded well...

The best thing to do to find out about if there is such a job description (I have not, nor do I know anyone with that type of job) is pick the brain of a recruiter - talk to a recruiter from each branch of the military that you are considering and see what they have to say. I do know that there are LOTS of computer oriented jobs, besides just repair! It might make your decision making process a bit easier. Let us know what you find out!
