security clearence

Hello.I am close to signing up in the service and I had a question about security clearences.Does anyone know if you get the clearence before bootcamp, during or after your training.Im looking to get into intelligence, but it would **** if for some reason i couldnt get a clearence and they through me into another field.

From what I remember my "secret" clearance was done while I was in AIT for 16T(Patriot Missile Crewman). But, if your lookin for an Intelligence MOS, I would be willing to bet it is done prior to Basic. Check with the recruiter to be safe.
