Default Quick question..

I was talking to a few Navy recruiters in my hometown, one said that the Navy will and does accept GEDs thats what the guy told me over the phone, so I go down to the office take my practice ASVAB test and then start talking to this other recruiter about everything, then he drops the ball saying that the Navy DOES NOT accept GEDs. Can anyone answer this for me can I join the Navy with a GED or do I need a highschool diploma??

I can't say for sure that the Navy does, but I know for a FACT that the Army does. However there is usually only a few times a year that GED's are valid for entry. I would have to ask though...what is it about the Navy that you are interested in? Or better yet, why did you choose the Navy over the Army?
