Default Computer Science

Im sorry to say that i have only recently become seriously intrested in joining the military.

I was wondering what kinda of careers are available for a person with a degree in computer science. possibly a Masters in Computer Science.

I love Computers to death I do. however, I cant fathom sitting behind a desk for the rest of my days spitting out code for some dead end company.

Actually, I think I goofed up big time in selecting my Major. Like I said I LOVE computers. However I have always been some what of an ACTION type person.
I love ACTION type activities, snowboarding, racing, soccer, football.

Im afraid that if I join the Military i still may end up spending all my days behind a desk.

Can anyone help me figure out what to do?

Give us a little more information on being an action person. You may want to be a field computer repair person or Officer in charge of the soldiers.

Computer Science is a large area to start with.

You can always go to a recruiters office and get the information there.

If you keep checking on the careers and job area at the top of the page, you will find alot of infornation.

Im not sure if i should go to a recruiter.
See. Im not sure what branch of the military i wanna join.
Last time I went I was hounded every 2 days by the marines about joining up.
Thing Is I was not sure the Marines was the branch for me.

as far as action goes, I mean most things that kick butt. soccer, football, snowboarding, skydiving, motorcycle racing (I want a bike so bad).
I guess the one thing these all have in common is adrenaline. Dont get me wrong im no adrenaline junky, but I enjoy the thrill they present, and could not see doing a job that does not have any. (thrill that is)

NoFear001, the one thing you need to know is that a recruiter needs you more than you need them.

If you are an adrenaline junkie, you own them. You have a degree so they know you are worth the trouble.

Get all the information from them and tell them "I will call you DON'T CALL ME".

They have to do what you ask.
