You would need to speak directly to a recruiter for the branch of the military that you are interested in joining - it is not good to take someone's word for it when you REALLY need to know and are getting different stories... You can google "army recruiters" or "navy recruiters" and so on and it's easy to find one in your area. Good Luck!

I would think that they would like them young. Hell alot of the come straight out of highschool so you know how that goes. Young and ready to be molded.

For the Army it is 42. Meaning you would have be finished with your training before your 42nd birthday. The reason for that is simple. at 42 you can still do a full 20 years and retire from the Army before the legal retirement age.
