Default Lost DD214

I have a friend that was discharged from the Army some time ago and has misplaced his discharge papers and DD214.

Any of you guys know where to search to recover them from Archives?

Thanks.

you might try the DOD web site - they have a million links to other sites that help with stuff like this... this is their main site:

Have your friend visit this website. It takes a few months to receive certified copies.

Yep. You can pretty much alway get copies of the DD214 from archives, and it usually comes in about 6 weeks.
