Basic Training
Is basic training only offered in Cape May, NJ and does one have the option to choose what state they are sent to, to serve in the USCG

good question - I've never learned how that part works re: choosing where you want to go. I know my own sister chose Alaska over Hawaii when the time came! what's THAT all about! but she did her basic in NJ.
