Another Marine Anniversary - Iwo Jima

The Marine Corps marked another anniversary this week - It has been 65 years since Marines stormed the beaches of Iwo Jima.

The photo of the raising of the flag is historic and well known the world over. It was re-enacted during the Commemorative Banquet held at Camp Pendleton. Survivors gathered to remember those who fell during the fierce fighting on the small island.
