Default Navy to Shoot Down Crippled Satellite

The Navy will be shooting down a satellite that began malfunctioning the very day they put it into orbit. This satellite has a good deal of toxic fuel on board that could be harmful to humans if those portions of the satellite were to hit the ground after it re-entered the atmosphere and broke up.

I think this is very star wars - and interesting! The Chinese and some others are saying we are doing it to "show off" or to "practice" and a few countries are making a stink about it - which I guess is fair since we made a big stink when China did the same thing recently!
