How do i get started

i have always wanted to be a doctor as long as i can remember. I work for a doctor now and he was in the Navy for about 15 years and i think this would be the best way for me to accomplish my dream. The way my student loans are now it just doesn't seem possible. So that is why i am asking how do i sign up for this great oppertuniy?
