Costing approximately 6.3 million dollars to make and powered by next-generation Unreal technology, the title delivers a tried and true Counter-Strike style of multiplayergame.

America's Army is one of the five most popular PC action games played online. It provides players with the most authentic military experience available, from exploring the development of Soldiers in individual and collective training to their deployment in simulated missions in the War on Terror.

America's Army: Special Forces is the follow-up to America's Army: Operations, which was released on July 4, 2002. This edition of America's Army introduces the Special Forces class of soldier. Players successfully completing Special Forces training will be able to play as a Special Forces soldier armed with all new highly specialized weaponry. Includes the complete game America's Army: Operations.

This new class also includes new player models and attachments as well as team structure to mimic the Green Beret squad structure. In order for a player to play as a Special Forces soldier, the player must meet all the prerequisites: A minimum HONOR of 15, completion of all the Special Forces training. Players who complete the SFAS process have the opportunity to take on elite Special Forces roles and are qualified to play in multiplayer missions with units ranging from the elite 82d Airborne Division to the 75th Ranger Regiment.
