Can You Qualify an Elite Army Ranger

The 75th Ranger Regiment is a highly-trained and elite infantry force capable of deploying anywhere within the world within 18 hours. Army Rangers are the elite special forces of the United States Army. All Ranger prospects are required to have first graduated from Army Airborne school before becoming an official Ranger. This long standing tradition started during the Korean war and continues today.

Their specialties include airborne and air assault operations, destroying strategic combat areas, and capturing or killing terrorists anywhere in the world. Army Rangers are capable of conducting squad through regimental-size operations. They’re also resourced with exceptional proficiencies, world class experience and combat readiness. This Military Special Forces unit remains an all-volunteer force with an intensive screening and selection process followed by superior combat training. The 75th Ranger Regiment is a proud unit and a team of teams – serving the America all across the globe.


The Army Ranger 75th Regiment are located in the following Army bases:

lst Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Hunter Army Airfield Georgia
2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Lewis, Washington
3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia
Regimental Special Troops Battalion, Fort Benning, Georgia

The Army Ranger contract requires candidates to meet the following basic standards:

– Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.
– Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
– Be 18 or older.
– Be able to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test (AFPT).
– Be eligible for a Secret Level Security Clearance.
– Score 50 or better on the ASVAB AFQT and have a GT (General Technical) score of 110 or higher.

As A Ranger candidate, you will begin with nine weeks of Boot Camp. You will then attend Advanced Individual Training to earn your MOS(Military Occupational Specialty). This individual training period varies in length depending on your selected MOS.

You will be required to perform an Army Ranger Physical Fitness Test consisting of the following:

* Push-ups – 49+
* Sit-ups – 59+
* Chin ups – 6+
* 2 mile run in running shoes in 15:12 minutes or less

Other physical requirements and tests:

* Combat water survival test
*5-mile runs
*3-mile runs with an obstacle course
*16-mile foot march
*Night and day land navigation tests
