Flying High as an Army Aviation Officer

The United States Army operates in every country around the world on different missions including peacekeeping missions. To make this happen it means that personnel and cargo has to be flown around the world. It takes a special brand of person to be able to pilot the huge aircraft and the mighty war birds which make up the Army Aviation wing. Those who work as an Army Aviation Officer are responsible for making sure all personnel get safely to their destination.

Life as an Officer

The best part about entering the Army as an aviation officer is you will not have to go through boot camp. Instead you will go through officer training corps. This will teach you everything you need to know about combat basics as well as what to do if you should ever find yourself behind enemy lines. You will enjoy a higher pay both as a pilot and as an officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

Top ensure that you are always flying safe you will be responsible for conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections of your aircraft. You will also be responsible for making sure that all personnel and cargo are secure before take-off.

If you pilot an attack helicopter than you will also be flying to maintain a presence in the air against hostiles. You may also be called in to deliver support for peacekeeping missions. As Always, you will charged with protecting the freedom of the United States of America.
