As an interpreter or translator you will receive all of the following: signing bonus, training in English, United States citizenship if needed, entry into the National Guard with a higher rank, and all of the other benefits of joining the Guard.

Before attending Basic Combat Training you may need to take part in language training at Fort Jackson.

Let’s face it: National Guard interpreter/translator jobs are not for everyone. You must have the willingness to learn and adapt, as well as a good foundation.
