Just like all new members of the National Guard you will have to go through 10 weeks of basic training. This may not be the best time of your life, but it is something you must do if you are going to make the most of your career. In short, you will be a better person for it.

Once you are doing with basic training you will move onto Advanced Individual Training for 7 to 12 weeks. How long you go through this training depends on the job that you are interested in.
