Taking classes while serving in a battle zone is not for the faint of heart, it is difficult, and finding time to study is even more challenging, but with Internet delivery it IS possible. It gives you flexibility and the ability to be adaptive, to take classes, and even take tests on line, from anyplace in the world that you have Internet or online access. There are many programs that allow you flexibility, perhaps the greatest flexibility comes with programs you can access on the Internet. Service in the Military can also offer different credit for time in service, for training. There are a lot of schools that have scrambled to offer part of their catalog on the Internet, and the amount of schools that are available with online Internet Delivery is increasing all the time. As a United States Military Servicemember, you are often called to duty stations that take a great amount of your time. The US Military has different support for getting a college education, but the one that offers the most new service is using the Internet for class delivery. The Internet is a fairly recent invention, and it has been a method of delivery that was not open in the past.
There are a number of programs that are an advantage to you as a Military Servicemember. When you are on active duty, sometimes you can participate in taking CLEP tests over the Internet, if you have the support of your command.
